Victoria Conn, District XI Reporter
District XI has had an extremely successful year and district competitions where the perfect way to wrap this year up. Members taking online tests completed their competition onJanuary 10, 2018 at each school. The events that included performances took place the next day (January 11, 2018) at J. W. Mitchell High School.
While students arrived Mitchell High School's advisers Mrs. Emily Lamb and Mrs. Aschell Glaves were preparing for the competition in the media center. To calm their fears, students ate pizza and socialized while waiting to be called, indicating their time to shine. District XI is thankful to Mitchell High School and their FBLA for opening their doors to the District.
Our leaders and advisors play such a great role in our performances so we would like to go ahead and thank all of those who work with FBLA and/or volunteer their time to our orginization and District XI. Us, FBLA members, must always remember to thank our advisors for supporting us and putting in as much, if not more, time to FBLA and its message.
The district would also like to recognize Mrs. Susan Martin for her outstanding leadership this year. The district officers appreciate all of the time you have put into the district's success this year. We could not have asked for a better district advisor.

We encourage you to remember to thank your advisors in everything that they do for FBLA. Without our advisors, we would not be able to leave our legacy and make our mark.
Congratulations to all competing chapters, and good luck at the SLC!
