A WORD FROM YOUR OFFICERS
Greetings District XI Family,

It is an honor to serve you this year as your district vice president. With this group of outstanding leaders, I am extremely excited to see what this year has in store for us. This will be my second year in FBLA and I can proudly say that I am president of Pasco’s FBLA club and attended states last year for Global Business.
In the short amount of time that I have been apart of this club, I have learned so many new leadership skills and have made new friends through this organization. Along with the other officers this year, we want to work together and create a more involved and united district to allow for more networking and communication opportunities. I want to get to know all of you individually and to kick start the process maybe you can get a little better idea of who I am.
I am a senior at Pasco High School enrolled in the Cambridge program and am apart of NHS and Interact Club. And although business plays a big role in my life, I strive to major in mechanical engineering at the college that is to be determined. I hope that each and every one of you benefits from joining this club and create good memories and better friendships.
I hope to get to know you all better as the year unfolds and if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at any time.

Greetings District XI FBLA members,
My name is Amy Le and it is my privilege to serve you as your 2017-2018 District President.
By making FBLA a part of my life, I was able to see my future plans more clearly. This club taught me how to be a strong leader and encouraged me to pursue my dreams by being able to balance all of my responsibilities. In addition to being in FBLA, I also serve as Treasurer of National English Honor Society and am a member of National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, Art Honor Society, Key Club, UNICEF, Red Cross. I have also been on the tennis team at Land O’ Lakes High School for three years now. On top of my extra curricular activities, I am a student in the International Baccalaureate Program.

I joined FBLA in my freshman year because of my lifelong interests in business. Since then, I have devoted every year actively participating in my chapter’s events, whether it be a fundraiser or a way to promote the club to others. Last year I served as my school’s Chapter Historian, and now Chapter President.
Competing in FBLA events, I have achieved the following recognitions:
-
1st place Digital Video Production District XI (2015)
-
3rd place Entrepreneurship District XI (2017)
This year I intend to lead District XI by enhancing the club’s organization and efficiency in meetings and other such events. I will ensure that the FBLA clubs in the district are actively encouraging their members to participate in events. Also, I will ensure that there is enough fundraisers occurring so that students have enough financial support when competing at the state and national level. I believe that everyone should have the chance to discover themselves as the future leaders of our generation.
With that, I am looking forward to meeting each of you and leading District XI through the 2017-2018 year.

Hello, District XI!
I am Deah Bhojani and it is my privilege to serve as your 2017-2018 District XI Secretary.
This is my third year in FBLA, and it has impacted my life in incredible ways. Through this club, I have traveled, met new people, participated in competitions, and taken on new leadership roles. Coming from a family of business owners and planning to minor in business in college, participating in FBLA has proved to be an amazing experience for me. Working with students and advisors to fundraise, organize events, and learn about the world of business is something that I am extremely thankful for. This club has helped me come out of my shell and reach for opportunities that I never would have before. The confidence and skills I have acquired are incomparable to anything else.
As a senior in the LOLHS IB Program, I am involved in many other organizations. I am a member of the National Honor Society, Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, UNICEF, Red Cross and Relay for Life. I currently serve as my chapter FBLA Vice President. I have competed at the district, state, and national levels, and hope to have another successful year. I am passionate about FBLA and its success.
I am looking forward to working with this new officer team and all of you this year. I hope to share my passion and love for this club, as well as my experience. Through fundraising, new social media outlets, and teamwork, I know that this will be a fantastic year for District XI. We will better our communication, networking, and overall club experience. Being part of this club will create lifelong memories and teach lessons that are applicable in every life situation. Joining has been one of the best decisions I have made, and I can only hope that each and every one of you will gain something as special as I have. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns! Again, I am very optimistic about this year and it is my pleasure to serve as your secretary!

Hello District XI,

My name is Nalin Mehra and I am your district parliamentarian for 2017-2018. I am a junior at Wiregrass Ranch High School and hope to serve everyone well for this upcoming year.

I have been a part of FBLA since freshmen year when I joined as a student who didn’t know much about the organization. I wasn’t aware of how much experience I would gain through this club. In my first year competing I placed 1st in Introduction to Business Communications at Districts and made it up to the state level. This alone helped motivate me in many areas of my life and seeing everyone at the state competition was an experience I can never forget. I continued to be a part of FBLA and became our chapter’s parliamentarian as a sophomore. I again placed 1st in our district competition, this time in Parliamentary Procedure, however was unable to compete at states due to unfortunate circumstances.

FBLA has enabled me to become a better version of myself and improve my life and leadership skills. I am grateful for everything the organization has done for me and I hope to give back by in any way possible. I hope to have an outstanding year as a district and make FBLA an enjoyable place for everyone involved. If you have any questions, I can be contacted through my email.
